working on it... this is a work in progress. Although, that is what I have been saying for quite a while now. Since 1995 actually. I miss the simple days where HTML was the same on a mainframe and in a web browser... when netscape was not even version 1.0 yet, and ncsa mosaic ruled the roost... but I digress

hoping to get some decent content out here at some point - so bear with me

I would like to get some decent content - mostly just a few notes about some of the places I have visited, and some nice information on hiking - specifically maps, trails, and pictures of the hikes I have taken

eventually, I'll make it nicer... gotta find the time! haha!

some of the things on this page will work. right now, there are 2 different image gallery softwares i am trying to configure. coppermine is one, the other is gallery (G2).

and, as much as I love frontpage because I am super lazy - this was edited in notepad++ which is a wonderful freeware text utility that knows about certain types of markup and can do file compares, etc. very smart. very configurable.

good thing i started with html back on OS/2 and a wonderful text editor. so - this page was proudly made with notepad++

haven't figured out the navigation back to here yet - from the photo galleries. for now I'm just gonna "cheat" and have it open a new browser

feedback, comments, etc. are welcome. use the link to the left to email me. it'll forward to my main email address - tired of spam, so I have an arbitrary feedback email that I get rid of once a year. keeps the spam down considerably. when you host your own email server - you get to do things like that.
